  • Red pepper flakes 1/4 Tbsp
  • Green or Brown lentils rinsed 1 Cup
  • Vegetable broth 6 Cups
  • Can crushed tamatoes 1 (14.5 Ounces)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnishing

Instructions

  • Sauté the Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic, thyme, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds more.
